They are looking at energy efficient ways to address the global lighting market which is worth about $100 billion per annum. The solutions range across reducing costs of the LED bulbs to complete precision controlled lighting systems for offices and building complexes.     nice pointer to emerging scene. As we move towards avoiding risky nuclear energy options, and look to solar and wind to supplant our energy resources, the way forward is efficient use of energy, thru LED and such means. Very soon, when per kilowatthour cost of energy shall sky-rocket to unbelievable prices, the cost of an LED bulb will not look significant.
