LED market set to grow
In the next ten years, market leader Phillips expects 75 percent of its global sales to be in LEDs. Phillips is set to launch solar-powered LED lighting solutions including portable solutions. Though LED lights are at a comparatively high price point of around Rs. 600, the expectation is that the buyer can recover the costs with one year in terms of savings in electricity bill. As the prices continue to come down the LED light market is all set to take off via Business Standard
